Dave Meros hails from Salinas, California, where he grew up learning the bass. He lists many of the "usual suspects" as influences, including Chris Squire, James Jamerson, Marcus Miller, Chuck Rainey, Rocco Prestia and more.
With his band, Spock's Beard, in addition to playing bass, Dave plays Bass Pedals and French Horn. He is also the Tour Manager and bassist for Eric Burdon and the New Animals, touring extensively throughout the US, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Dave also points out that he was an FM DJ for three years while honing his craft. In addition, he's an avid scuba diver and skeleton collector.
David uses our WT800 head powering various speaker systems, depending on the tour. He loves his rig because "Eden systems sound great before you even start adjusting the tone controls,' he says. "I can always get a great sound with any bass and in any venue with Eden gear." |
