Joe Lee started his musical career as the house drummer at The Depot Lounge in Meridian, Mississippi, performing four nights a week for almost four years. When he realized he wanted more out of music than Meridian had to offer, Joe hit the road as the bassist for regional touring act, Smokin' Section. The band broke up after six greuling months on the road but Joe kept on going.

It wasn't too long before Joe was offered a position with national touring act Sure Shot from Rockford, Illinois. He toured heavily with the band, performing over 700 shows in three years. Since then, Joe has worked with numoerous national acts, including a stint on the Ameristar Casino circuit, performing in Las Vegas, Reno, Kansas City and Tunica, Mississippi.

Joe now lives in Nashville,TN, and plays bass and sings harmony for Music City Records recording artist Derryl Perry. Derryl's single, "You Will", stayed at #34 on the Music Row Charts for over six weeks. The band has performed at Gilley's in Dallas, TX, 8 Seconds Saloon in Indianapolis, IN, and Fan Fair's A stage in Nashville this summer, just to name a few.
