Muscular Bass
Michael Polinko fell in love with the bass at his sister's Sweet 16 party. Ever since, he's been focused on All Things Low. While mowing lawns to save up for a bass, Michael started to learn on a cardboard/wood copy, made for him by the bassist at his sister's party. Coming full circle, Michael bought the bass his cardboard copy was patterned after. He then built his own amp through which to play.
Fast forward several decades and numerous bands, and Michael had a life changing event. Micahel was rushed to the Emergency Room with dangerously high blood pressure. While there, the doctor told him he had three choices: take hundreds of dollars of medication a month to regulate his health issues, get in the best shape of his life, or put his affairs in order. Polinko immediately began an exercise regimen and altered his eating habits. After using a Bowflex machine for several years, he sent before and after pictures to the company. Now, Micahel is one of their most popular spokespersons.
Currently, Michael performs with Torque, delivering gut-wrenching metal to fans on the Eastern Seaboard. As he says in his commercial - he's 50 years old and in the best shape of his life. And he's living his dream, playing in a killer band. Not bad for someone who was staring death in the eye eight years ago.
To capture his aggresive playing style, Michael uses our WT800 to power D410XLT and D118XL cabinets. He chose Eden because, he syas, "Eden gives me Ultimate Low End - bass you feel, not just hear. It's the highest quality bass amp you can buy." |
