Patrick Jason - Devlishly Delicious Bass
From an early age, Patrick Jason knew he wanted to play music. Hailing from somewhere out west, he grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina, honing his skills as a singer / songwriter for the last 15 years in local bars across the region with such bands as ULTRALUSH, Star Zero, Push Cult, and 11th Hour. For the last 6 years he has enjoyed playing bass for rock and roll bands.
Influenced by the likes of Philip Lynott, Nickki Sixx, Paul Simonon, Mike Watt, Rudy Sarzo, Sting, Paul McCartney and Duff McKagan, Patrick digs his heels into being a no frills, straight ahead, rock and roll bass player.
Just keeping it steady and tasteful, Patrick is carrying on the tradition of true gritty, ball-busting Rock & Roll by playing bass and singing backing vocals with the power trio BLANCO DIABLO. Patrick joined the band in September of 2005 and hit the ground running with band mates Jamie Ray (lead vocals/guitar) and Dan Viands (drummer/backing vocals). Based out of Charlotte, NC, Blanco Diablo has toured both the US and the UK over the course of 2006-2007, playing such venues as The Whiskey a Go Go in Los Angeles, California, to The Cavern Club in Liverpool , England.
Blanco Diablo released their debut album "Paper Poison Revolution" nationally with Rock Ridge Music in April of 2006 and is being played on radio stations across the US and the UK. The band averages 110-plus shows a year.
Patrick uses the Eden WT550 to power his cabinets. "I am absolutely thrilled about the tone I get from my Eden amp," he says. "The quality is unbeatable and I have also found that Eden products are very road tough." |
