I dont know Bassban639....At 3-4 am I would rather muster up the energy to roll one 90lbs cab and get home then to make 2-3 trips to the car to carry the 3 individual cabs, bass, head or rack let alone helping the drummer or pa owner. A 312 cab I think would be a blessing especially if it had neo magnets and only was 50lbs.

Or, S-U, you could put all three cabs on a dolly or hand truck. Just a thought...we each have different ideas of the Perfect Rig...

+1 on Lane's dolly idea. I shuttle my 112XLTs and rack in on a Carvin Dolly Board. I think jmcgliss has his 112s on a dolly of some kind. It'll work as long as there are no steps involved.

I understand and didnt mean to sound like Im dictating what people should do , to each their own....though since many people like the power generated by a 3-12 setup I figured I could plug the 312 idea and the shoe on the other foot situation. I personally think dolly boards are great but would be afraid to push something hard if ts not locked in....A few days ago I wrote a thread about the possibility of eden making a carpeted, pallet with casters or spring handles to angle up and lock into all the cabs with the 23x18 footprint. It is osted in more detail in the combo post in what comsumers would like to see in the future. I love hand trucks but the problem I have with them is where to put the big thing after since I dont have a van or truck.

We've been looking at dolly ideas for some time. As soon as we can, we'll move forward on this. And I didn't think you were dictating at all...I only wanted to make sure you didn't think *I* was dictating. <smile>

I use an inexpensive dolly board from Carvin for positioning...but also have a folding luggage cart with large wheels for moving overland and steps. Did I mention that 3 D112XLT's load through the side doors of most cars and stand up in the back seat like small children? And bass cases lay on top. That leaves most of the load floor of our Legacy wagon for rack cases and PA gear.

SONIC-UMPH. don't worry,no harm bro,yes that's one of the problems with smaller cabinets,I have a FENDER,PRO400,That's about 80/86 lbs, that's one of the resons i bought my cxc110,then to add cabinets, the reason this is working for me,i can take just the cxc110 or all the cabinets if neede, also, even with all the cabinets it doesn't take up alot of space and yes i have to make a few trips,i can carry the cabinets with ease, one and done is great, but at 3 or 4 a.m. ,i'm by myself,no parking space close by,flight of stairs, and an impared arm,it's a good rig,i would love to get the 610 or 810 (maybe i still will)but for now i'm being practical,to my needs, later on i;ll work on my wants, and then i'm thinking small cabinets, hey,i always say if you can do it, do it,isn't it great to be able to do that?,i think so,I wish you happy hunting for your rig set-up,it's hard i know,so many toys,HEY have a GREAT DAY,
i had some junk plywood and casters from an old tool box and some brown paint,i bought a rubber runner at lowes for $ 2.00,alittle time and i have alittle dolly.
HEY,EVERYONE HAVE A GREAT DAY !!!

Thanks for the kind words Tim. Im really happy with my 210xst and 212xlt setup though after my cxc110 creased a cone I pulled the head and stuck the box in the closet for now. I went out and got a 112 and thats what I use at home. I added the 4 ohm 210xst and stack it vertical on the 112 for gigs. After the car accident on Thanksgiving due to ice, I cant fit the 212 in my new wheels so the 112/210 works out nice. One day I would like to upgrade my 330 to a 405 and get another 110xst speaker to put in the cxc cab, Im not a huge fan of tweeters so it would be heaven with my 112 or make a super portable 310/112 setup to use with the wt-330.
