EDEN BEGINS PROGRAM TO SUPPORT MUSIC IN SCHOOLS

Chicago, Illinois, September 22, 2005 - Eden Electronics, the leader in bass amplification, announced Eden in the Schools, a program to support music in middle and high schools. Each month, Eden will donate several Nemesis Silver Series bass amplifiers to schools around the country.

"We believe that music is an important part of every child's education," said Eden founder David Nordschow. "We want to help promote that idea by providing high quality bass amplifiers for use in school band programs. The Nemesis Silver Series was designed specifically for student bassists and their teachers, so it's a perfect fit for this program."

The first donation - a Nemesis Silver Series N12S - was made today to North Ridge Middle School of Danville, Illinois, current home of Lane Baldwin, Eden's Special Projects Coordinator. "I'm relatively new to the Danville area," Baldwin said, "and I'm very excited to be able to contribute to our school system's efforts to promote music education. I look forward to hearing the new bass and amp at the next North Ridge concert."

Also donated to the school was a Washburn T12 bass guitar (in Metallic Red to match the school's colors) and gig bag. The bass and amplifier will be used by the school's award-winning Jazz Band, the Redpeppers. In addition, musicians from the band program perform with the Redcoats, the school's award-winning show choir.

Band Director Tom Harrigan was extremely pleased that his school was the first recipient under Eden's new program. "we knew about the amp donation," he said, "but were totally surprised by the bass. I can promise they will both be put to very good use. I can't tell you how much we appreciate this and how proud we are to be the first recipient."
